Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is advertising for a Patient Pathway Assistant to support the Urology team across Bristol and the South West. You will assist the Patient Pathway Coordinator with inpatient and day-case waiting lists, pre-operative clinics and theatre lists, ensuring timely, high-quality patient administration.

The role requires calm, organised, methodical working, strong IT skills with Microsoft Office, and the ability to collaborate with clinicians, GPs and patients.

Qualifications

• Good general education including GCSE Maths or English.
• Experience in NHS or similar organisation.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Desire to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Patient Pathway Coordinator in managing inpatient and day-case waiting lists.
• Coordinate pre-operative clinics and theatre lists.
• Communicate with patients, GPs and staff to ensure smooth pathways.
• Assist with inpatient and day-case administration.
