Job summary

NHS Highland invites applications from qualified registered nurses to join the Highland Urology Centre in Inverness. You will perform patient assessments, assist with procedures, educate patients and monitor care around treatments in a busy, supportive team.

Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential; prior urology experience is desirable but not required as full training is provided. Gaelic speakers are welcomed to apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree or diploma in Adult Nursing and be registered with the NMC in Adult Nursing.
• Urology experience desirable but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Involved in patient assessments.
• Assist with procedures.
• Provide patient education.
• Monitor patients before, during and after treatments or investigations.
• Work independently and as part of the multidisciplinary team.
