Job summary

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a part‑time General Practitioner to join the stand-alone Urgent Treatment Centre at Chase Farm Hospital, Enfield. You will assess, diagnose and treat or refer patients, operating within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality care.

This role offers a permanent contract with London weighting pro rata and flexible hours to fit your lifestyle.

Qualifications

• GMC Licence to Practice.
• Current GP Principle or Non‑Principle in UK.
• Registered on a PCT Medical Performers List.
• MRCGP.
• Desirable: Previous experience of working in Emergency Department or Urgent Care Centre.

Job summary

The remit of the UTC is to provide unscheduled care for those patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses, however there are occasionally patients who self-present with acute or life-threatening conditions, which the postholder will be required to assess, redirect, and refer on as required.

The postholder will be an experienced independent practitioner who is able to provide clinical support and expertise to ensure that patients attending UTC receive the best possible outcome.
