Job overview

The Ophthalmology Department is looking for an organised individual to join the Urgent Eye Administration Team, working alongside the clinical team to help deliver this emergency service efficiently. This is a fast-paced environment, so you would need to work well under pressure.

Main duties of the job
  1. Manage and monitor patients through their treatment pathway ensuring compliance to RTT and local waiting time standards.
  2. Act as the first point of contact on behalf of the consultant and the Trust, effectively dealing with all enquiries from GPs, patients, other departments within the Trust, and all other departments, in line with Trust Values.

Qualifications
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
