Job summary

ESNEFT invites applications for a Registered Nurse to join the Integrated Urgent Crises Responses (IUCRS) service in Northeast Essex. Band 6, permanent, 37.5 hours per week, based in Clacton-on-Sea with travel across the region.

You will provide rapid assessment and treatment for patients with complex physical and psychological needs and help avoid unnecessary hospital admission. The role spans urgent community work, collaboration with EEAST and IRAS, and involvement in education, practice

Qualifications

• Registered nurse on the NMC register and current practice.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and post-qualification training.
• Diagnostics and assessment qualifications or progressing to them.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex, sensitive patient information using tact and negotiation.
• Offer specialist advice and training to patients, carers and staff.
• Communicate effectively within the integrated team and other agencies.
• Make complex judgements and develop care plans based on assessments.
