Job summary

DHU Healthcare is seeking a Salaried GP to join our Urgent and Emergency Care teams operating within the NHS framework across the East Midlands and beyond. You will assess, diagnose and manage patients with urgent undifferentiated illness and minor injuries within UTC scope, following local pathways.

The role requires full GMC registration and inclusion on the NHS Performers List, GP training completion, and experience in general practice or unscheduled care.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
• Inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Completion of GP training or equivalent experience.
• Experience in general practice, urgent care, out of hours or other unscheduled care settings.
• Ability to assess and manage undifferentiated presentations safely.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with urgent undifferentiated illness and minor injuries in UTC scope.
• Take clinical histories, perform examinations and make evidence-based decisions.
• Order and interpret investigations and act on results within UTC setting.
• Maintain GMC registration and Performers List status.
• Engage in appraisal, mandatory training and professional development.
