Job summary

DHU Healthcare is recruiting an Advanced Practitioner for an Urgent Treatment Centre role. The position focuses on autonomous assessment, diagnosis, treatment and referral of patients at triage, with prescribing and diagnostic testing within a multi-disciplinary team.

Applicants must hold NMC/HCPC/GPhC registration and independent prescriber status, with two Level 7 modules. The post offers enhanced leave, pension and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registration as NMC, HCPC or GPhC and independent prescriber status.
• Substantial autonomous practice within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience with triage, assessment and treatment in urgent care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat or refer patients at triage autonomously.
• Lead safe, evidence-based care in a triage setting.
• Prescribe within extended non-medical prescribing and manage medicines.
