Job summary

Shakespeare Walk-in Centre, operated by OneMedical Group, is recruiting Advanced Clinical Practitioners to assess, diagnose and treat minor illnesses across all ages. The role involves 12-hour shifts on a seven-day rolling rota in a busy urgent care setting.

Applicants must hold MSc Advanced Clinical Practice or Level 7 ACP and have unrestricted NMC registration with an Independent Prescriber status. Experience in urgent or primary care is essential.

Qualifications

• MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or Level 7 ACP qualification.
• Current NMC registration with no restrictions.
• Independent / Non-Medical Prescriber (V300).
• Significant urgent care and/or primary care experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess, diagnose, treat and discharge patients with minor illness.
• Use advanced clinical reasoning and independent prescribing.
• Identify red flags and escalation in line with clinical governance.
• Support patient flow in a busy urgent care setting.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, quality and teamwork.
