Job summary

DHU Healthcare is seeking an experienced UTC Advanced Practitioner to join our Loughborough/Oadby sites. You’ll work autonomously in a fast-paced urgent care setting, assessing, diagnosing, treating and managing adults and children with minor injuries and illnesses as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will hold NMC nurse, HCPC paramedic, or GPhC pharmacist registration with independent prescribing rights, have at least two Level 7 modules including advanced clinical assessment, and be

Qualifications

• Registered professional (NMC/HCPC/GPhC) with independent prescribing rights.
• Minimum of 2 Level 7 modules, including advanced clinical assessment.
• Experience working in urgent care or equivalent fast-paced setting.
• Ability to exercise autonomous clinical decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and manage patients with minor injuries and illnesses.
• Work autonomously within a multi-professional team.
• Contribute to efficient running of the UTC and support colleagues.
• Demonstrate competence in clinical assessment and, where possible, X-ray interpretation.
