Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Inclusion on the Specialist Register or due admission within 6 months.
• FRCS (Tr+Orth) or equivalent accreditation.
• Evidence of recent publications/research.
• Recognised higher professional training in Orthopaedics.
• Subspecialty interest in Upper Limb.
• Fellowship training and ATLS.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking elective and fracture outpatient clinics.
• Elective and trauma operating sessions.
• Ward round duties and associated administration.
• On call duties 1:8 week with a colleague.
• Train and supervise junior medical staff; provide educational supervision.
