Job summary

Atlas Contract Furniture Limited is seeking an experienced Upholstery Machinist to join a friendly team in the UK. You will cut fabrics, sew cushions, and add trimmings while meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality. The role is permanent with 40 hours per week, either 7.30am–4.00pm or 8.30am–5.00pm.

Qualifications

• Extensive sewing experience within a similar background essential.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.
• Upholstery experience desirable, including cutting, tacking and pattern matching.
• Ability to maintain superior quality and pace.
• Happy to work in a team.
• Good knowledge of soft covers and leathers.

Job description

Atlas Contract Furniture are looking for an experienced Upholstery Machinist to join our friendly team.

At Atlas, we design and manufacture quality, bespoke and long lasting contract furniture for bars, pubs, clubs, universities and restaurants in the UK and across Europe.

You will be joining a team of highly motivated individuals who ensure the Atlas high standards are maintained at all times.

This is a permanent position. Hours worked are 40 hours per week, either 7.30am to 4.00pm or 8.30am to 5.00pm.
