Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group in Barnstaple is seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join a growing manufacturing team. You will carry out upholstery and assembly work, cut, measure and fit materials, and use hand tools safely to produce high-quality outcomes.

The role offers £14.00-£16.00 per hour with a Temp to Perm path or permanent contract and an early finish every Friday, plus training and long-term career prospects within a friendly, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous upholstery experience is required.
• Good knowledge of upholstery techniques and materials.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out upholstery and assembly work.
• Cutting, measuring and fitting a variety of materials.
• Using hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Producing high-quality work to a consistently high standard.
• Working towards daily production targets.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace.
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive production team.
