Job summary

Careers in Design in Greater London is seeking a skilled upholsterer to work on bespoke furniture for private clients. You will upholster custom pieces, strip and rebuild, cut and fit fabrics, and finish to a high standard.

Join a small, friendly workshop with flexible hours (part-time or full-time) and a pay rate around £16 per hour, negotiable depending on experience. A strong eye for detail and traditional as well as modern techniques are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous upholstery experience required.
• Experience in stripping and rebuilding furniture.
• Ability to cut and fit fabric accurately.
• Sewing cushions and covers to a high standard.
• Good attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities
