Job description

We are seeking experienced Upholsterers to join our client’s production line, upholstering a variety of high-quality furniture. The ideal candidates will be fully skilled upholsterers with a strong background in working with various fabrics and tools.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay Rate: £14-£20 per hour (dependent on experience) + opportunities to increase earnings through piece work

Benefits: On-site parking, company pension, 30 days annual leave including bank holidays, opportunities for promotion

Location: LS12

Shift Pattern: Monday-Thursday 06:00-16:30, including a 30-minute break

The Role:

• Upholster a variety of furniture to a high standard
• Deliver quality work that meets company standards
• Comply with Health and Safety procedures
• Use hand and power tools to cut, sew, and apply upholstery materials
• Handle and lift heavy materials and components safely
• Apply fabric with precision and attention to detail
• Repair or replace damaged upholstery as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

The Candidate:

• Experience using air-powered staple guns and relevant hand and power tools
• At least one year of upholstery experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within contract furniture
