Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking caring SEN Teaching Assistants to join a fantastic SEN school in Braintree. You will provide 1:1 and small group support to children with special educational needs, helping them thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Full-time hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, term-time only. The role offers weekly pay, ongoing training, and a £50 referral bonus if you recommend a friend.

Qualifications

• Passion for supporting children with SEN.
• Experience or understanding of autism and learning disabilities.
• DBS on update service or willingness to apply.
• Ability to follow guidance from teaching staff.
• Positive attitude and initiative.

We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who are ready to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs. What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting students from early years through to young adulthood with severe learning difficulties and additional needs.


• Working closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver tailored learning support.


• Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.


• Assisting with classroom activities and encouraging student participation.


• Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm - enjoy your weekends off!

What We're Looking For:

• A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them grow - essential!


• Experience or understanding of autism, learning disabilities, and other SEN.


• A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply.
