Job summary

Vision West Nottinghamshire College is recruiting for an Unqualified/Qualified Teacher in Electrical Installations. You will deliver and assess vocational programmes, plan and develop teaching across the electrical area, and support trainees to succeed on a variety of programmes.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ level 3 or equivalent, and are willing to pursue Assessors awards and teaching qualifications. Strong teamwork, communication, and administrative skills are essential for success.

Job details

Salary The unqualified salary will be £28,764 per annum. The qualified salary will be within the Delivery Scale £31,000- £41,616 per annum, with a potential market allowance up to £44,162 per annum.

We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to be part of our electrical team, to deliver and assess across a range of programmes. You will plan, deliver and assess identified vocational programmes including commercial activities and drive developments within the area, supporting trainees to achieve on a range of programmes.

The ideal candidate should have: -

• Appropriate vocational qualifications to at least NVQ level 3 or equivalent
• Have, or be willing to work towards Assessor qualifications i.e. A1 and V awards or equivalent
• Have, or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification
