Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking Unqualified Nursery Practitioners for flexible supply work across Birmingham and surrounding areas. Start ASAP with pay of £14–£15 per hour.

You will support children aged 0–5 in nurseries, helping them learn through play and ensuring a safe, caring environment in line with EYFS guidelines. This role offers flexible hours—full-time or a few days per week—and opportunities across a range of nurseries.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a nursery, school, childcare, or similar setting is desirable but not essential.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A willingness to learn and develop within an Early Years environment.
• A flexible approach and a positive work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning through engaging, play-based activities.
• Assist with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor play.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, and language development.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff to provide the highest standard of care and education.
