Job summary

Partou Euxton Day Nursery & Pre-school is looking for a Lunchtime Cover Assistant to join our team in Chorley. The role is 15 hours per week, part-time and permanent, with a focus on providing engaging, EYFS-aligned activities while covering lunch break duties.

We welcome an individual who is passionate about early years education, supports children’s learning and development, and upholds safeguarding standards in a busy nursery setting.

About The Role

Partou Euxton Day Nursery & Pre-school is seeking an unqualified nursery practitioner to take on the flexible 15 hours per week role of Lunchtime Cover Assistant. You will work towards ensuring children engage in stimulating activities that support their learning and development in line with the EYFS. You will provide exceptional care and compassion towards the children, maintain a safe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families. You'll play a key role in supporting our nursery team, stepping in to provide cover while our staff enjoy their well-deserved lunch break. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys the bustling energy of a nursery setting and thrives in a supportive role.
