Partou Little Dragons Day Nursery & Pre-school in Harrogate is seeking a part-time Lunchtime Cover Assistant to work 15 hours per week. You will support our nursery team during lunch breaks, helping children engage in EYFS-aligned activities and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.

We welcome applicants who are passionate about early years education, with strong EYFS knowledge, and a commitment to safeguarding and ongoing professional development. DBS checks will be conducted.

About the Role

Partou Little Dragons Day Nursery & Pre-schoolis seeking an unqualifiednursery practitioner to take on the flexible 15 hours per week role of Lunchtime Cover Assistant. You will work towards ensuring children engage in stimulating activities that support their learning and development in line with the EYFS. You will provide exceptional care and compassion towards the children, maintain a safe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families. You'll play a key role in supporting our nursery team, stepping in to provide cover while our staff enjoy their well-deserved lunch break. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys the bustling energy of a nursery setting and thrives in a supportive role.
