Job summary

Partou Bourne Explorers Day Nursery & Pre-school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a part-time Lunchtime Cover Assistant for 15 hours per week to support our nursery team. You will help children engage in stimulating activities aligned with EYFS, provide compassionate care, maintain a safe and inclusive environment, and collaborate with families and childcare colleagues during lunch breaks.

About the Role

Partou Bourne Explorers Day Nursery & Pre-school is seeking an unqualifiednursery practitioner to take on the flexible 15 hours per weekrole of Lunchtime Cover Assistant. You will work towards ensuring children engage in stimulating activities that support their learning and development in line with the EYFS. You will provide exceptional care and compassion towards the children, maintain a safe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families. You'll play a key role in supporting our nursery team, stepping in to provide cover while our staff enjoy their well-deserved lunch break. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys the bustling energy of a nursery setting and thrives in a supportive role.
