Job summary

Flow Sports Personnel Ltd in Twickenham seeks a caring, enthusiastic nursery assistant for a part-time, term-time role. The position runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am-1:00pm, term-time only, with no formal Early Years qualification required but with strong nursery experience.

You will support children's learning and wellbeing in a safe, nurturing environment, assist with daily routines, and work alongside experienced practitioners while progressing towards a recognised Early Years/Childcare

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable individual with previous nursery experience to join our friendly nursery team on a part-time, term-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience working in a nursery but does not yet hold an Early Years/Childcare qualification and is keen to work towards gaining one.

The successful candidate will support children's learning, development and wellbeing in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment while gaining valuable experience and developing their skills within the early years sector.

You will work alongside experienced practitioners, supporting children's daily routines, play-based learning and development, while receiving guidance and support to help you progress towards a recognised qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, caring and attentive support to children throughout the day.
• Support children's learning and development through play and engaging activities.
• Help create a safe, stimulating and welcoming nursery environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Assist with children's daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting and personal care where appropriate.
• Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence and social development.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team and learn from experienced practitioners.
• Show a willingness to develop knowledge and skills and work towards an Early Years/Childcare qualification.

About You

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday, 9:00am-1:00pm, term time only.
