Job summary

Flow Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for a part-time, term-time position in a friendly nursery. You will help provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where young children learn, play and develop, working closely with the nursery team to support wellbeing and development.

The role requires a qualification at Level 2 or 3 (or working towards one), along with a caring, patient and proactive approach.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly nursery team on a part-time, term-time basis.

The successful candidate will help provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where young children can learn, play and develop. You will work closely with the nursery team to support children’s wellbeing, learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, caring and attentive support to children.
• Support children through play, activities and everyday routines.
• Help children develop their confidence, independence and social skills.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming nursery environment.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies.
• Observe children and support their learning and development.
• Help prepare and take part in age-appropriate activities.
• Encourage children to explore, learn and develop through play.
• Work positively and cooperatively as part of the nursery team.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare, or working towards a recognised qualification.

Working pattern: 9:00am–1:00pm, Monday to Friday, during term time.
