Job summary

Ortus Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Unqualified Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Tooting. You will provide 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil with ADHD, helping them focus, participate, and build confidence in lessons.

The role is full-time with an immediate start and PAYE pay of £93–£110 per day, with dedicated support from the Ortus Recruitment team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting is essential.
• Capable of working 1:1 with a KS2 pupil with ADHD.
• Confidence to support across the wider primary age range EYFS–Year 6.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 learning support for a KS2 pupil with ADHD.
• Support pupil to improve concentration, confidence and independence in class activities.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to implement tailored learning strategies.

We’re looking for someone who understands that every child learns differently and has the patience, experience and enthusiasm to make a meaningful difference. Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting is essential, alongside the confidence to work across the wider primary age range, from EYFS through to Year 6.
