Job summary

Ortus Recruitment is seeking caring Learning Support Assistants to join welcoming mainstream primary schools in Streatham, Lambeth. You will provide one-to-one and small-group support, help pupils access lessons across EYFS to KS2, and assist with literacy, numeracy and phonics.

This role offers immediate start and ongoing placements with support from a dedicated consultant. A genuine interest in education, patience, reliability and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is desirable.
• A genuine interest in education and child development.
• A patient, supportive and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence supporting children with different learning abilities.
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude.
• Availability to attend an immediate school trial.

Responsibilities
