Ortus Recruitment Ltd in Streatham is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term post with immediate start. You will support primary pupils with SEND, helping them access learning and build confidence in a supportive school environment.

You will work with class teachers and the SEN team to tailor support to individual needs and promote positive behaviour and independence. The role offers PAYE pay of £93-£115 per day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children in a primary school, SEN setting or similar environment.
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Confidence in responding to different learning styles, abilities and behavioural needs.
• A proactive attitude and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
• Relevant qualifications or training in education, childcare or SEND are desirable.

Ortus Recruitment is working in partnership with a school in Streatham to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position.

This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and motivated individual who is passionate about supporting primary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will play an important role in helping pupils access learning, develop independence and build confidence in a supportive educational environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the wider SEN team, providing tailored support to meet pupils' individual needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

Candidates must be available for an immediate start.

The Role - Key Responsibilities
