A leading secondary school in Leeds is looking for an Unqualified Humanities Teacher to start in September 2025. Unqualified Humanities Teacher - the school:

Unqualified Humanities Teacher - responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of Humanities subjects (History, Geography, Religious Studies and/or English)
Support students in their academic and personal development, providing guidance and encouragement
Help plan and prepare teaching materials under the guidance of the subject lead
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary
Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning
Unqualified Humanities Teacher - requirements:
2:1 or above UK degree in a Humanities subject - English, History, Geography and/or Religious Studies preferred
The ability to teach at least two of the above subjects with guidance is desirable
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Committed to pursuing a career in teaching
Reliable, motivated and able to hit the ground running
Previous tutoring/classroom experience is essential
