Job summary

Twizzle Tops Wat Tyler in Basildon is seeking an Unqualified Early Years Educator to join our nursery team on a full-time basis. You will deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS, supporting children’s learning through play and creating a warm, safe environment.

You will work with the Room Leader and Nursery Manager, be part of a supportive team, and have the opportunity to progress through our in-house apprenticeship scheme to gain a formal qualification.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EYFS framework is desirable.
• Willingness to learn and grow through in-house apprenticeship.
• Ability to deliver high-quality care and education in a nursery setting.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning through play-based, child-led activities.

The Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Early Years Educator to join our nursery team at Twizzle Tops Wat Tyler who is aspiring to do their qualification through our in house apprenticeship scheme.

As an Unqualified Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and care, supporting children’s learning and development, and creating a warm, safe and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

You will work closely with your Room Leader and Nursery Manager, contributing to a positive team culture and ensuring best practice is embedded in everyday routines.

• Experience working in an Early Years setting
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Understanding of safeguarding, child protection, health and safety, equality and SEN/Inclusion
• A caring, reliable and professional approach to working with children and families
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
