Job summary

Heriot-Watt University is recruiting cleaners for the Riccarton campus in Edinburgh. The role involves maintaining hygiene and cleanliness across student accommodation, offices, meeting rooms and lecture theatres to high standards.

We offer a Grade 3 salary of £24,546–£24,700 per annum, with a 5/7 shift pattern including weekends and statutory days. Benefits include 28 days of annual leave plus 9 closed days, with flexible working options possible.

Responsibilities

• To ensure all University buildings and accommodation are cleaned to a high standard following the standard operating procedures
• Use appropriate equipment and machinery, reporting any faults to Cleaning Supervisor
• Work within and ensure service level agreements are met
• Support line management to deliver a flexible, efficient and professional service to all our customers
• Report repairs, faults and maintenance to Cleaning Supervisor
