Job summary

T&D Glazing and Installation Limited is a UK specialist facade installation company based in Manchester. We are seeking an experienced Facade Site Manager to lead unitised curtain walling installations on live commercial or residential projects in the Manchester area.

The role focuses on hands-on site management, ensuring safety, quality and timely progress. Immediate start available for the right candidate with proven facade installation experience.

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant facade installation management or senior supervision experience.
• Proven experience managing the installation of unitised curtain wall systems on live projects.
• Strong knowledge of curtain walling, glazing and facade installation.

Responsibilities

• Managing the daily installation of unitised curtain walling and other façade systems
• Planning work by floor, elevation, area or installation zone and preparing realistic look-ahead plans
• Managing installers, team leaders and supervisors, allocating labour and monitoring productivity
• Reading and understanding construction drawings, installation drawings and technical details
• Planning labour, materials, access, deliveries, lifting operations and site resources
• Coordinating with the Project Manager, main contractor, QA team and senior site management
• Maintaining accurate site records and producing detailed daily reports
• Representing T&D professionally in meetings with the client and project team
