Job summary

T&D Glazing and Installation Limited in Manchester is seeking an experienced Facade Site Manager to lead day-to-day facade installation activities and supervise the workforce on site. Immediate start available for the right candidate with direct curtain walling experience and strong understanding of drawings, setting-out and tolerances.

The role is full-time and site-based, with a focus on safety, quality and delivering against programme. Manchester-based project experience is essential.

FACADE SITE MANAGER – MANCHESTER, UK

UNITISED CURTAIN WALLING / FACADE INSTALLATION

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 per year, depending on proven experience

Location: Manchester, UK

Job type: Full-time, site-based

Start date: Immediate, or flexible for the right person

Our Teams Install

• Unitised curtain wall panels
• Stick curtain walling systems
• Aluminium windows and doors
• Glazing and associated facade components

We manage and carry out the facade installation package. General experience in housebuilding, internal fit-out, civils, roofing or unrelated construction trades will not be sufficient without direct facade installation experience. Cladding experience is useful, but cladding-only experience will not replace a strong understanding of curtain walling, glazing and facade installation. If you understand how unitised panels are installed – from drawings, setting-out, brackets, interfaces and tolerances through to lifting, access, sequencing, quality and progress- please carry on reading.

The Opportunity

We already have an active project in Manchester. The successful candidate could start immediately, initially support our existing management team and then move to an upcoming project. We are looking for the right person for the long term, not simply the person who can start first. If the right candidate is currently committed to another project, we are prepared to wait until that project is properly completed. We are a UK facade installation company, not a recruitment agency.
