Position: Unit Supervisor/Cook

Location: Bishopmill School, Morriston Road, Elgin, Moray, IV30 4DY

Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday, during term time)

Salary: £19,703.61 - £21,288.02 per year

Contract: Permanent, Part Time

Proposed interview date: TBC; successful candidate to start on 19th August 2025

Role Overview

You will work within the Catering Team to deliver healthy, fresh, and nutritious meals across Moray. The successful candidate will be required to travel to and work in various kitchens as needed.

Moray Council Catering Services operate in 52 schools, including primary, secondary, and Early Years Settings, serving meals daily to students and children. Join our team of 300 staff dedicated to providing high-quality catering services that contribute to the health and well-being of pupils.

This role is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check before a formal offer is made.
