Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Unit Manager to lead a care home team, ensuring the highest standard of care for residents and smooth operations in the absence of senior leaders. The role emphasizes compassionate leadership, safeguarding awareness, and strong teamwork within a supportive environment.

You will guide care delivery, coordinate with clinical staff, and drive engagement with residents and families while upholding HC-One's values and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for a specified portion of the home and deliver high standards of care.
• Lead the home in the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager's absence.
• Support staff, ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance, and promote resident dignity.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
