Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Unit Manager for a full-time, 44-hour week role on days in the United Kingdom. You will lead a care home for vulnerable adults, ensuring the highest standard of care while guiding staff and maintaining resident dignity.

You’ll be responsible for running the home in the Home Manager's absence, upholding safeguarding, and fostering a kind, inclusive environment for residents, families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills in a care home for vulnerable adults.
• Ability to take real accountability and communicate with residents and colleagues with kindness.
• Safeguarding training appropriate to the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the highest standard of care across the home and lead when the Home Manager and Deputy are absent.
• Support and supervise staff to ensure resident dignity and wellbeing at all times.
• Maintain safe, compliant and well‑managed care delivery with a compassionate approach.
