Job summary

HC-One Ltd are seeking a Unit Manager (non-clinical) to lead a care home unit, ensuring the highest standards of care, dignity, and wellbeing for residents. You will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and step in during absences of the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager.

You will promote an inclusive, supportive environment, complete safeguarding training, and uphold the company’s commitment to people-centred care and staff development.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills in a care home for vulnerable adults.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with residents and colleagues.
• Ability to recognise safeguarding issues and complete required training.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for a specific part of the home and deliver high-quality care.
• Lead the team and step in to run the home in the Home Manager or Deputy Home Manager's absence.
• Maintain resident dignity and wellbeing in every interaction.
