Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Unit Manager to lead a care home, upholding dignity and high standards of care. The role is full-time with a 3 on/3 off shift pattern and 38.5 hours per week, requiring strong leadership and safeguarding responsibilities.

You will manage a designated area of the home, stepping in for the Home Manager when needed, while ensuring compassionate, person-centered care for residents.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills in a care home for vulnerable adults.
• Ability to take real accountability and communicate with residents and co-workers with kindness.
• Safeguarding training and ability to report concerns.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for a specific part of the home and run the place when Home Manager/Deputy absent.
• Ensure the highest levels of resident dignity and well-being.
• Attend safeguarding training and monitor for signs of abuse or neglect.
