Job summary

Bupa's Elm Grove Care Home in Cirencester is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead the care team and deliver person-centred support to residents.

You will work closely with the nurse, observe medication, review care plans, and ensure accurate records, while training new staff and building strong relationships with residents and families.

A valid NVQ3 in care or working towards it is required, with a commitment to compassionate care and professional development.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in care completed or in progress.
• Motivated, positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading a team of care staff and delivering person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day running of a care unit.
• Support with clinical duties, including supporting the nurse to observe and administer medication and review care plans.
• Accurate record-keeping and ensuring handovers between shifts.
