Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead and support a team at one of our care homes, working with the Deputy General Manager to ensure quality, person-centred care. You will assist the clinical team with medication, assessments, and care plans to meet residents’ needs.

We look for an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, plus a compassionate approach to elderly care. Career development and a comprehensive rewards package are available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care required.
• Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Ensure residents receive quality, person-centred care respecting dignity and preferences.
