Job summary

Brunelcare's Saffron Gardens is seeking a Unit Care Leader to guide the care team, delivering personal care and medication administration while mentoring colleagues to uphold best practice. The role emphasizes social activity and life history integration for residents.

You will need care sector experience; line management is desirable but not required. The post is 36 hours per week with weekend and bank holiday enhancements.

Qualifications

• Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care, attained or in progress.
• Experience in the care sector.
• DBS check and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual personal care that respects each resident's choices, abilities and diversity.
• Dispense and administer medication once training and competencies are signed off.
• Mentor and lead the team on best practice in care and support.
• Encourage social activity as part of each resident's day.
• Build each resident's life history into their daily care.
