We are seeking a dedicated individual with experience in supporting people through crises, gained through advisory roles or similar casework in charities, voluntary, or public sectors aligned with our mission.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, with a proactive attitude, capable of managing numerous grant applications efficiently under pressure.

Key skills include excellent communication, relationship-building over the phone, and supporting individuals with complex issues, demonstrating empathy and sound judgment while meeting targets and service standards. Responsibilities include:

• Managing individual caseloads
• Assessing grant applications holistically
• Providing high-quality advice, support, and information
• Making recommendations or decisions on financial assistance within guidelines
• Engaging with charities, statutory bodies, and creditors for advocacy, negotiation, and coordinating additional funding applications

Training will be provided for developing specialisms, if applicable.

The role requires strong organizational skills and confidence in delivering occasional training, which may involve travel and overnight stays.
