Job summary

CFC's London-based Underwriting Operations Specialist role seeks a proactive professional with underwriting or insurance operations experience to help design and onboard efficient processes, work with IT, and support growth.

You will document workflows, generate cost/benefit analyses, and collaborate across teams to implement best practices in underwriting, vendor relations, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in underwriting or insurance operations.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Documenting and creating operational process flows for various teams across the business.
• Generating ideas and strategies for technology, people and process improvements; collaborating with relevant teams along the way.
• Presenting solutions to the Operations Manager and making joint decisions on the best strategies to advance projects to completion.
• Report writing and business case development to go to senior management for proposed strategies, including the use of cost/benefit models and the analysis of underwriting data to identify the benefits and track the value of proposed projects and initiatives.
• Working with underwriters to understand their challenges, generating solutions and working with various teams across the business to enact the solution.
• Working with the compliance and products teams to understand new requirements of underwriters, working with various teams to put new processes in place
