Job summary

DUAL UK is seeking an Underwriting Performance & Data Manager to drive data‑led insights across Commercial and Specialty portfolios. You will collaborate with trading underwriting, finance, actuarial and data teams to deliver robust reporting and actionable intelligence for executive decision‑making and capacity negotiations.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and reporting skills with underwriting/insurance performance experience.
• Proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and lookups; experience with BI tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Familiarity with GWP, earned premium, loss ratios and commission structures.
• Data science/AI background and working knowledge is highly desirable.
• Experience with policy administration systems and data warehouses.
• Past exposure to delegated authority or MGA environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee underwriting performance across UK Commercial & Specialty units with key metrics.
• Lead monthly/quarterly performance packs and develop dashboards for senior leadership.
• Support capacity providers with profit commissions and renewal data.
• Improve data governance, controls, and reporting methodologies.
• Engage stakeholders and present insights to underwriting, finance and group teams.
