Job summary

Arch Insurance (UK) Limited is seeking an Underwriting Auditor for Corporate Underwriting to support the CU leadership in UK Regional audits and possible London Market involvement. The role focuses on evaluating underwriting processes, controls and adherence to authority levels.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Internal Audit and Claims, identify trends, and help strengthen underwriting governance across the business. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years underwriting or claims experience in UK Property or Casualty underwriting.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Sound independent judgment.
• Ability to influence colleagues toward mutual goals.
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in underwriting audits/reviews of UK Regional business units and delegated authority programs.
• Perform file reviews to ensure adherence to corporate rules and pricing tools.
• Assist or lead the collection, processing and summarising audit information.
• Identify trends to determine audit scope and risk levels.
• Coordinate audits with Compliance, Internal Audit, and Claims as needed.
• Assist in planning and implementing underwriting controls and documentation.
