Job summary

Arch Insurance (UK) Limited’s Corporate Underwriting Audit function provides independent reviews of underwriting decisions across UK regional units, with potential London Market involvement based on need or skillset.

The role supports CU leadership by evaluating adherence to authority levels, documenting findings, and collaborating with Compliance, Internal Audit and Claims to enhance controls and risk management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years underwriting or claims experience, preferably UK regional classes.
• Strong analytical and attention to detail.
• Independent judgment and influencing ability.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in underwriting audits of UK Regional units and delegated authority programs.
• Perform file reviews to assess adherence to rules and pricing tools.
• Collect, process and summarise audit information and identify trends.
• Coordinate audits with Compliance, Internal Audit, and Claims.
• Assist in planning and implementing underwriting controls.
