Job summary

Intrum is seeking an Underwriting Analyst to join our international credit management team in the UK. You will process and analyze portfolio data, prepare valuations, and support Investment Memorandums across jurisdictions.

You’ll build tools to enhance analysis and ensure timely, accurate outputs for senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a finance/analytics background, strong English, and proficiency in R/SQL/Python plus Excel.

Qualifications

• University degree with high marks in an analytical/financial subject
• Excellent English language skills
• Experience in finance, analytics or consulting or similar role

Responsibilities

• Data processing, manipulation, analysis, presentation and interpretation of portfolio characteristics
• Support and compile portfolio Investment Memorandums (IMs)
• Support portfolio valuations across different jurisdictions
• Develop and maintain tools/models/materials to enhance portfolio analysis and valuation
• Ensure good quality outputs, fit for purpose, and meet deadlines
• Provide support to other team members to ensure knowledge transfer and business objectives are met
• Perform ad hoc tasks delegated by Underwriting Manager
