Job summary

Intrum is seeking an Underwriting Analyst to join a highly international environment and supportive culture where effort counts. You will handle data processing, analysis, and interpretation of portfolio characteristics, contribute to Investment Memorandums, and support valuations across jurisdictions.

The role requires finance/analytics experience, a strong analytical mindset, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

  • Experience in finance, analytics, consulting or similar role.
  • University degree with high marks in an Analytical/Financial subject (e.g. Mathematics; Statistics; Economics)
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Advanced knowledge of R/ SQL/ Pyhton or other programing languages
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Statistical experience in dealing with large data sets and data modelling techniques
  • Excellent Analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure minimal errors on portfolios valuations
  • Highly numerate, quick learner and able to solve problems quickly
  • Good communicator with ability to communicate with different levels of Customers/Stakeholders
  • Ability and flexibility to work under pressurised working environment
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced envirnmet
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and keen to learn and develop
  • Willing to go the extra mile to achieve the objectives and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Ensure deadlines are met without disruption to the business and decision making process.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks delegated by Underwriting Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Data processing, manipulation, analysis, presentation and interpretation of financial portfolio’s characteristics
