We are supporting a highly respected Lloyd's Insurance market Syndicate that is recruiting for an Underwriting Analyst to join their Underwriting Governance Management team.
You will have experience working within a Syndicate, closely with Underwriters to ensure they follow correct controls and processes when taking on Risks.
This includes monitoring Exception Reports, updating Policy Documents, etc.
You may come from a Risk Analyst, Operations, or Compliance background but must have worked closely with Underwriters in similar roles.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Underwriting Analyst who is creative in improving processes and procedures.
This is a new role, allowing you to make it your own. You are encouraged to work on your initiative and take on more responsibilities as the role develops.
The main priorities will be to improve the Underwriting Controls Framework, produce timely and accurate reports, and support data quality initiatives within the Underwriting Systems.
It is ESSENTIAL to have good Excel skills, especially V-Lookups and Pivot Tables, and a good understanding of Insurance/Underwriting terminology.
The salary is up to £60,000 with a range of benefits. The role offers a hybrid working pattern of 60% in the office and 40% remote.
