Pedigree: Owned by a global broking giant, with capacity from one of the largest insurers, this MGA offers a best-in-class service, especially within the Golf niche. The company is expanding its market share, focusing on football, rugby clubs, and other sports.

Role Overview: Handling renewal and new business cases with clients from the company's own broking and third-party brokers. Managing bespoke sports insurance products like Commercial Combined, Property, Liability, and Specialist products.

Key Duties:

1. Managing relationships with brokers, colleagues, and clients across the UK.
2. Identifying opportunities and evaluating insurance risks.
3. Underwriting new and existing business within delegated authority.
4. Communicating with senior staff to ensure clarity and positive relationships.
5. Providing excellent service within SLAs.
6. Building profitable relationships with brokers and colleagues.
7. Issuing policies, calculating premiums, and negotiating terms.

Candidate Profile: Ideally from a commercial underwriting background, with experience in golf or sports insurance. Applications from outstanding Commercial Underwriters or technically gifted Brokers with delegated authority experience are welcome. Must not focus on auto-rated business.

Skills & Requirements: Numerate, excellent IT skills, stakeholder management skills, and team-oriented.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid role, with occasional office presence. Flexibility for remote work for qualified candidates.
