Company Overview: A leading MGA owned by a global broking giant, partnered with one of the largest composite insurers worldwide. Known for excellent service within the Golf niche, now expanding into football, rugby, and other sports markets.

Role Overview: You will handle renewal and new business cases, working with clients from both the company's own broking arm and third-party brokers. The role involves bespoke sports-related products such as Commercial Combined, Property, Liability, and Specialist products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Managing relationships with regional brokers, colleagues, and clients across the UK.
2. Identifying and offering solutions to clients/brokers by assessing insurance risks.
3. Underwriting within delegated authority for new and existing business.
4. Communicating effectively with senior staff to ensure clarity and positive relationships.
5. Providing excellent service within SLAs to prioritize clients and customers.
6. Collaborating with brokers and colleagues to grow profitable relationships.
7. Issuing policies by calculating premiums and negotiating terms.

Candidate Profile: Ideally from a commercial underwriting background with experience in golf or sports insurance. Applications from outstanding Commercial Underwriters (Commercial Combined/Property/Casualty) with a passion for sports are welcome. We also seek technically skilled brokers familiar with delegated authority schemes. Note: Candidates should not focus solely on auto-rated business.
