About the Role: This role involves managing both renewal and new business cases within the Sports Insurance niche, dealing with clients from the company's own broking business and third-party brokers. You will work with bespoke products such as Commercial Combined, Property, Liability, and Specialist products tailored to the Sports market.

Key Duties:

1. Managing relationships with regional brokers, colleagues, and clients across the UK.
2. Identifying opportunities and evaluating insurance risks for existing clients and brokers.
3. Underwriting new and existing business within delegated authority.
4. Communicating effectively with senior staff to ensure clarity and positive relationships.
5. Providing high-quality service in line with SLAs.
6. Liaising with brokers and colleagues to increase profitable relationships.
7. Issuing policies by calculating premiums and negotiating terms.

Candidate Profile: Ideally from a commercial underwriting background with exposure to golf or sports insurance. Applications from outstanding Commercial Underwriters (Commercial Combined/ Property/ Casualty) with a passion for sports are welcome. We also consider technically skilled Brokers with delegated authority experience. Note: Candidates focused on auto-rated business are not suitable.

Skills & Requirements: Highly numerate, excellent IT skills, stakeholder management skills, and a team-oriented approach.
