Job summary
AXA XL – UK & Lloyd’s Construction Practice is seeking a mid-level Underwriter II with strong technical expertise in underwriting energy transition construction projects including PV, Wind, BESS and related technologies. The role focuses on delivering profitable growth and market-leading underwriting services for CAR/EAR and related coverages in the onshore sector.

Qualifications
- Proven experience underwriting onshore renewable energy projects with profitable outcomes.
- Excellent understanding of construction and renewable energy markets and risk drivers.
- Strong network of brokers and clients within the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Underwriting & Portfolio Management within authority limits.
- Pricing risks considering technical costs, reinsurance and admin expenses.
- Monitor exposures, premium income and portfolio performance.
- Engage with brokers and clients to support new business and retention.
- Review loss control reports and manage endorsements and claims input.
